How admission works

Tradition Preparatory High takes applications online through Charter Schools USA’s enrollment system, linked from the school’s website. For 2026-27, every application filed during open enrollment had an equal chance, and if a grade had more applicants than seats, a random computer lottery decided who was offered a seat, with sibling preference, according to the school’s enrollment page. The school says it keeps taking applications after open enrollment ends, through the last day of the school year.

Enrollment and teachers

  • The NCES directory lists the school under a Charter Schools USA office address in Fort Lauderdale, not than the Tradition campus.
  • Federal count: 965 students in the 2023-24 school year, with 43 full-time-equivalent teachers, according to the NCES school directory. That works out to about 22 students per teacher.
