Trash pickup
No change. The city’s collection schedule shifts only for Independence Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas, per its holiday calendar. Monday customers put carts out as usual. Rules are on our trash and recycling page.

What ran on Labor Day weekend 2026, per the county calendar; watch for the 2027 versions:
- Food Trucks and Tributes at Tradition Square: a Johnny Cash tribute, 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, 2026.
- St. Lucie Mets at Clover Park: three home games against the Jupiter Hammerheads, Sept. 4-6, 2026. In 2027 the team is on the road at Palm Beach Labor Day weekend, per MiLB’s schedule.
- Port St. Lucie Green Market: Sundays 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center.
- County nature programs: St. Lucie County Environmental Resources’ guided hikes, such as “A Life in the Wild Hike” on Sept. 5, 2026; dates are on its guided nature programs page.
Every weekend: The Port District’s boardwalk and trails, boat ramps at Rivergate and C-24 Canal Park, and McCarty Ranch Preserve; see parks and trails and free things to do.
