The history behind it
The museum occupies the 1952 Peacock Lodge, which with the neighboring 1917 Peacock House was moved from western Port St. Lucie in 2018 and restored with state historic preservation help. The city finished refurbishing the lodge in 2022, and restoration of the Peacock House is planned. More on our history and landmarks page.
